Here's an assortment of improv video mess-abouts that I've compiled. All Final Cut. All Youtube footage. Varied inspirations really - the last vid to the end however was pretty creepy to make - when searching for the footage of the scallywags featured, it turns out there's a weird voyeuristic fetish some people have for them, secretly filming them at bus stops and street corners... Still, made for some great footage of the otherwise ignored/dismissed sportswear clad group.
Sleazetone Records
I recently came across the genius of Sleazetone Records and their amazing collection of artists - Chrissy Murderbot, Hanuman, Kanji Kinetic and many more! The sound is bass first and I love it.
My overall favourite at the moment is probably Hanuman. It's style has a solid rhythm, repetition, variation and a generally cool, nostalgic atmosphere.
